Multi-Artist Catalogues Not Indexed

The following works include partial and sometimes complete catalogues of prints by the artists they cover, but for various reasons it was impossible to list them under the name of each artist. They are given here as a guide to further research for the user who has failed to find an adequate catalogue listed for a particular artist in the Index to Print Catalogues Raisonné itself.

The Print Council Index identifies monograms by the reference numbers given in [Nagler, Mon.]. In the electronic database, this information appears as as alias to the monogram itself. For example, Monogrammist S. (fl. c.1520) will have an alias "Nagler, Mon. IV, no. 3862." This means that this particular monogram "S." is the one reproduced and discussed by Nagler under number 3862 in volume IV. The Print Council Index does not list every monogram in Nagler, but only those for which oeuvre-catalogues exist in other publications.
